"When you invest in a woman, you invest in a family, a community, and ultimately a region"

ADVOCACY

The Women’s Fund of East Tennessee (WFET) Advocacy Committee works to illuminate the context within which the Fund carries out its mission of transforming the lives of low-income women and girls in East Tennessee. The Committee researches issues and opportunities through national, statewide, and regional networks, and works together to advocate and create programs that raise awareness and educate diverse audiences about our advocacy priorities impacting low-income women and girls in our 25-county service area.

Currently we are focused on the following issues:

  • Domestic Violence & Human Trafficking

  • Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)

  • Access to Education
